U.S. Congressman French Hill
Dear Friends,

This Veterans Day, we honor, pay tribute to, and thank those who have worn the uniform, protected our Constitution, and safeguarded our liberties.

I am humbled by the commitment of these noble servants and extend my sincerest gratitude to all who have served and the families who have supported them. Thank you for your sacrifice. Duty. Honor. Country.

Central Arkansas is proud to be home to many who have worn the uniform and they have my commitment to fight to ensure that they and their families receive the care and benefits they have earned and deserve.

This week in Congress we focused on how to support our veterans and their families. We passed seven bills including to assist with post-service deployment and to increase the efficiency of delivering health care.

                                                      THANK YOU!

Our nation’s servicemen and service women have sacrificed to defend our rights and freedoms, and I will continue my efforts each day to ensure they receive the recognition and care they deserve.

We salute our veterans for their hard work, service, and dedication to our nation.

Sincerely,

Representative French Hill

Photos for the Week

I was honored to stand alongside Arkansas Adjutant General, Major General Mark Berry and welcome home the fine soldiers of Arkansas’s 1-153rd as they returned from their deployment in Djibouti in Horn of Africa.

This week, we celebrated the passage of the American Legion 100th Anniversary Commemorative Act into law. I was proud to cosponsor and support this legislation that provides for a coin to be minted in celebration of this milestone, which was signed into law by President Trump.

This was especially significant to me because my grandfather, Jay W. Hill, served in France during WW1 as an officer in the U.S. Army. Following the war, he was active in the American Legion Post #1 in Little Rock.

I am blessed to have on my team three dedicated veterans helping those who have served get the care and benefits they deserve.

Tom McNabb (center), Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, is a retired Army medic who, himself, was wounded in Iraq. On his team are Richard Maxwell (right), District Representative, and David Carnahan (left), District Representative, both combat veterans themselves as well. If you need assistance with casework of any kind or if you need help working with the Department of Veterans Affairs, please contact my team at (501) 324-5941 or at hill.house.gov.
